Architectural firm Villanueva architect was founded in 2014 by architect Dennis Villanueva. The studio is located on Strijp-S, the creative heart of Eindhoven. From the characteristic and inspiring Videolab / Office-S building (cradle of the first Philips DVD and Blu-ray player) all ideas come about and unique plans are further developed.
We work on various projects with great passion and professionalism. The design issue is carefully formulated for a variety of projects, from private to commercial, so that each assignment is unique. For each project, a team is put together that best suits the design concept and the wishes of the client.
Each project is developed in close consultation with the client. An open dialogue between client, architect and other parties involved is the guiding principle in every process. Our quality lies in creating multidisciplinary hybrid and functional concepts, which result in an almost natural simplicity with attention to the smallest detail.
Villanueva Architect
Founder and architect Dennis Villanueva graduated at the Eindhoven University of Technology for Masters study ‘Architecture, building & planning’.
At Wiel Arets Architects he worked as a project architect and project leader on both national and international projects. With projects ranging from luxury homes (H-House & Jellyfish house) to a theater (De Nieuwe Liefde) and even the renovation of Crown Hall (one of the most significant architectural buildings of the 20th century by Modernist Mies van der Rohe), he develops each project towards an optimal result.
He took the experience of Wiel Arets Architects with him and further developed it at Villanueva Architect. New construction of modern buildings, redevelopment / renovation, interior design and product design, in short projects on different scales, are part of the portfolio and are developed with passion and quality.
