The city of Eindhoven profiles itself as the design capital of the world. The city is known for its innovation and creative industry. To take more advantage of its potential, the city should better show its creative class to the public and encourage synergy between different parties.

The design of two towers for design student housing on a plinth with functions for the creative industry, will make “design” and innovation more accessible to the public.

The building is designed as a concrete framework that gives enough flexibility in space to its users and residents to create their own creative urban world. The generic free space between the frame generates a dynamic atmosphere where different people meet and share their thoughts.
